On 15 July 2026, the LocAll4Flood consortium held the first coordination meeting of the project’s Transfer Phase. After a first phase dedicated to testing its solutions in pilot territories, LocAll4Flood now moves into this second phase as a Transfer project funded by the Interreg EURO-MED Programme, focused on adapting and replicating its Integrated Multi-stakeholder Governance Model, together with its prevention, adaptation and mitigation tools, to two new pilot territories: the municipalities of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and Shabla (Bulgaria). Both join the partnership as new partners for this stage of the project.
Beyond the transfer itself, this phase also pursues two complementary objectives: mainstreaming the project’s strategies into regional and national policies in Catalonia, Bulgaria and Malta and amplifying the results across the Euro-Mediterranean area. The project therefore remains firmly rooted in the Euro-Med territory.
The Transfer Phase brings together an enlarged consortium: BETA Technological Centre (Catalonia, Spain, lead partner), EUROREGIO Pyrenees Mediterranean (France/Spain), University of Balearic Islands UIB-GLOWATER (Balearic Islands, Spain), the Energy and Water Agency (Malta), Black Sea – Danube Association for Research and Development (Bulgaria), Hydrometeorological Innovative Solutions (Catalonia, Spain) and the new partners from Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina) and Shabla (Bulgaria).
This new phase confirms LocAll4Flood’s ambition to turn locally tested solutions into a model that can be adapted, replicated and sustained across the Mediterranean region.
