Conference: Managing flash floods risks in the Mediterranean region

The LocAll4Flood Conference will take place in Perpignan (France) on 17 June.

Flash floods represent one of the main natural hazards affecting the Mediterranean basin and their intensity and frequency could increase due to climate change. During this conference, the LocAll4Flood project will present its key results and concrete proposals to strengthen prevention, adaptation and mitigation capacities at regional and local levels. 

The main topics of the conference will include:

• Governance and multi-level coordination
• Awareness and citizen preparedness
• Early Warning Systems
• Nature-Based Solutions

The event will bring together regional and local authorities, researchers and practitioners from across the Euromediterranean region to exchange experiences and discuss actionable recommendations.

This conference can be followed entirely in English and French.
