The 2nd LocAll4Flood Validation Workshop took place on 4th February. This is an important stage in the project as the results of months of work are presented to the Advisory Board, the wider body that monitors the actions and validates the methodology.
Around fifty participants, mainly from universities, research centres and regional public authorities in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Spain and France, took part in the virtual meeting.
After a brief review of the characteristics of the 9 pilot catchment areas, a number of results were presented and discussed: the implementation of the Early Warning System, the assessment of risk perception, the range of possible Nature-Based Solutions and the outlines of the Multistakeholder Integrated Governance Model for flood management.
