The 3rd LocAll4Flood Validation Workshop took place on 5th March. This is an important stage in the project as the results of months of work are presented to the Advisory Board, the wider body that monitors the actions and validates the methodology.
Around forty participants, mainly from universities, research centres and regional and local public authorities in Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain and France, took part in the virtual meeting.
After a brief review of the project, the new results were presented: the reports on the testing outcomes of the Early Warning System, the testing outcomes of the adaptation solutions and the testing outcomes of the mitigation solutions in the pilot sites. Also were presented the document to assess the efficiency of the LocAll4Flood IMGM to reduce flash floods risk through citizen sciences activities and the multi-stakeholders engagement. Finally, the Transfer Strategy of the project results was also displayed.
