On 12 and 13 November, the LocAll4Flood partners held their second face-to-face meeting in Malta. It took place in Saint Paul’s Bay, a coastal tourist town located downstream from the Burmarrad pilot catchment area, where the Integrated Multi-stakeholder Governance Model is currently being tested by the Energy and Water Agency.
The two-day programme was rich and exhaustive, encompassing all three dimensions of the LocAll4Flood model: adaptation, prevention and mitigation.
In recent months, the project has made notable progress, with the development of a catalogue of nature-based solutions for flood management, the configuration of a warning application, and the implementation of risk perception surveys in pilot catchment areas.
